Starkey ft Elixir – This Time Last Night

  1. Starkey ft. Elixir “This Time Last Night”
  2. Dev79 ft. Edu K “Heat Reasons”

After Starkey’s remix of Rich Boy’s “Throw Some D’s” received so much internet hype he decided to do an original version with Philly MC – Elixir. They flipped it and here you have a track that is just as complex as it is bouncy. Starkey has had a number of recent vinyl releases and compilation appearances on labels such as Dead Homies, Trouble & Bass, Werk Discs, Ruff, and Non Classical. Elixir is notable as the host MC for the Skratch Makaniks and Hollertronix parties.

Dev79 linked up with Brazilian Baile Funk MC Edu K and they cooked up this frantic electro dancehall banger, appropriately titled “Heat Reasons.” Chanted Portuguese MC’ing over snarling synths and a heavy beat equal that raw you need for the floor. Edu K appears courtesty of Man Recordings who have released his hit track “Popozuda Rock N Roll” as well as remixes by Diplo, Solid Groove, and Sinden. Dev79 has left his stains on a number of releases over the years from labels such as Sonicterror, Slit Jockey, Zenapolae, and Dubcore.
