Dev79 comes with all guns blazing for this open fire assault of Street Bass Anthems Volume 3. The third time out for this mixtape series is losing no steam whatsoever.

Some track highlights include Dev79’s juicy “That Philly Raw” with Dipset’s Bezel on the mic. This track rocks with a minimal banger beat, an infectious pitched up hook and hard as nails rhymes all forming a hometown classic. Bezel is the only Philly MC in the Diplomats. He’s dropped many hot mixtapes like The Philadelphia Beast and the recent- Savior 2 Da City, featuring LIl Wayne and Jim Jones. Bezel was also featured on Juelz Santana’s certified Gold album What the Games Been Missing! on Def Jam. After a recent string of releases on labels such as Lo Dubs, Ruff and Dead Homies, Starkey drops two remixes here. The real jaw dropper is his rendition of “Blow Ya Mind.” It features some of Starkey’s sickest synth work yet, and theres a rumor this track might pop up as a white label 12”. DJ Freak Nasty (Harm Squad Recs) is the creator of Philly’s wildly popular ‘Wu Tang Dance,’ as featured on MTV. Dev79 tricked out a special version of the party music ruckus “Get in my Stance” featuring Philly’s up and coming female teen MC’s Storm and Starr. Michael Squid, producer and occasional mc for indie rap press darlings Plastic Little (aNYthing, Sound Ink Recs, Spank Rock) makes a rare solo outing with his remix of club staple “A Bay Bay.” Jumping between interpolations of “White Rabbit” and 8-bit gabber, this track evokes the vibe of Gnarls Barkley on crack.
