Release Party for the Slit Jockey Mixtape Volume One on January 11th!
This is a stateside grime dj mixcd by Dev79 that features exclusives and dubplates from Kano,
Riko, Ghetto, Drop the Lime, Vex'd,
Starkey, Dev79, El Carnicero, and many more. NYC native and recent
Berlin, Germany transplant Drop the Lime is back in the states for the holidays and will be coming down to help
Dev79 & Starkey set off the release party proper, and this will be
his first time DJ'ing in Philly. You know the drill - Silk City 5th& Spring Garden Sts. at 10pm.

Get your holiday spirits up with "The Straight Dope" on December 23rd, at the Khyber
upstairs. This month we have Cramske back as our guest along with a special tagteam session
between Dev79 and Jeff Myers (formerly Continuous Solution) and Generic Man all holding it down. You know the drill,
it's been gettin wilder and wilder each month so lets end the year
with a bang peoples! Once again its free to enter and theres plenty of cheap drinks.

We got a special night coming up next week. Since we here at
Seclusiasis get all warm n fuzzyfeeling when we help out others, we got together a benefit show to help
underprivileged children have a better holiday season. This month's "Get IN" is being done in
conjunction with the West Philly organization Concerned Parents, Inc. and all the proceeds from
the night will be donated. We're calling this "Fer Da Kidz" and its boasting a heavy hittin lineup featuring MC's Grand Agent, Elixir, The
Antidote, and So-S@y all performing along with Dev79, Starkey, and Saint B on the decks. Bangin hip hop and grime all night,
for a good cause. Let's do this Philly! Silk City 5th & SpringGarden Sts. 10pm.

shit, after last month's "get in" being torn down by the mighty bass terror of Plasticman and Vex'd and last friday's debaucherous "phreak out"
party we are following it up with something just as sweet as it is nasty…NYC's illustrious Syrup Girls!
tag team sensation Star Eyes and Siren will be gracing us with their their seductive mix of
style and substance. dev79 and starkey will surely keep it grimey and guest dj bane one will

We're very sorry that Seclusiasis Radio did not air on 9/11,
Radio Volta has suffered some major technical problems and will not be broadcasting again until November. Graciously UMFM.net
has offered us an alterntive outlet for the show, while Volta is down. Some of you will remember UMFM simulcasting our show a
few months ago. We will be broadcasting a makeup show on 9/25 featuring
the 2nd half of our exclusive features with Kano & Ghetto and Roll
Deep as well as our regularly scheduled show on 10/9, which will be Seclusiasis Radio's 3 year anniversary show!

This month's "The Straight Dope" is next week, Friday 9/23 9pm. Freeeee with dj's Isaac aka Rubix,

aw shit, it's been a year we been playin this grimey stuff in good old
philadelphia. and in that year, grime has come a long way and yet Seclusiasisis still the only crew rockin the sound in philly and the only crew in the u.s.
who's been able to hold it down with regularity so with this September's Get IN, we're celebrating a year of doin the grime thing.
resident DJ's Dev79 & Starkey will of course be on hand to keep it real, along with Host MC Micsouljah and video
projections by Brian Cook and our special guest for this month is Jack Horner of Nod Records. Jack Horner is a local hip hop producer,
whom many will remember from his appearance at the Philadelphia Laptop Battle 3. as usual its FREE on September 8th 10pm at Silk City,

awww shit, last week was crazy and we've got a slew of site updates to prove it. first off thanks to everyone who repped at the "get in"
slit jockey record release party last thursday. we had a great time rockin out and thanks to lix for comin through with a special guest appearance on the mic.

the exclusive radio sessions we did with kano & ghetto and roll deep went great on friday and the show on sunday went great
except for the fact that a crazy thunderstorm kicked out our broadcast a lil over half way through, well luckily

Crooked Soul, the hip hop group that Starkey does production for will be our special guests this month out, so expect a rocking live performance
from them and just maybe we can convince their dj, Dr. Nameless, to drop a solo set as well.

We are here to kick off Get In with style. Our friends over at Sparks will be hooking it up with 1 hour of FREE SPARKS for everyone,
from9-10. So get there early and help us consume lots of our favorite beverage! Dev79 and Starkey continue to reside over the track selections for your
body, along with a guest live set from Dark Robot & MC 9live and Brian Cook will be on hand with his usual visual treats. Napiform Records
(the only U.S. distributorof UK Grime) has also lent their support to the party, so you know it's gonna be hot. This will be the first
Get In at Silk City so we need to jump it off right peoples, so come down to 5th & Spring Garden on Wednesday May 18th at 9pm and join the wildout.

Wow, thanx to everyone who got crunk with us on this past friday, the 22nd. It was a super secret Unofficial Dizzee Rascal Afterparty
(as well as our man Stumble's 21st Birthday!) and we got down with the rowdyness as usual. Sorry to all of those whose text messages we didn't reply,
we were filled to capacity within a half hour and rocked out until 5am! Photos coming soon from this party,

Thanks to everyone who rocked out with us at the final La Tazza "IN" party. We had a great time bringing the ruckus. And we are pleased to announce
that we will not be missing a beat, as we will now be kicking the grime action to you each and every month over
at Silk City (5th & Spring Garden Sts.). Starting June 9th we'll resume the 2nd Thursday madness you've come to love, but due to the
last minute nature of the situation we'll be kicking it Wednesday May 18th to start off. The night will now be called "Get In" and the May flyer is
coming very soon and we have some very special grimey plans for the Summer, so Philly watch out! Oh, and photos from the last La Tazza nite coming later this week.
We have teamed up with the lovely B3 ladies to bring you a nifty 420 party!!! Come out to Silk City on Wednesday April 20th at 10pm and get crunk n high
with us! This night will be the indie clash dance off you need to get into for some mid week stress relief.
Your DJ's for the evening will be M Dot, Carly Jean, and Dev79. There will be no cover to enter this party so don't front, come n get nasty.

Sadly we inform you that La Tazza will be closing down and going out of business. This comes as a shock to us and we recieved no advance warning
of the situation. Next week is their last week open and we will be throwing the FINAL IN on Thursday April 7th at 10pm!!!
So obviously the party that was to be on the 4/14 with El Carnicero has been cancelled but we hope everyone comes out on the 7th to join us one last time.
This night is gonna off the chain peoples, you know how we do and believe it when we say we're gonna go out with a bang.
Come out and get nasty, drunk, torn, and wildout. It's gonna be sad to end a night we have become real fond of, but we are definitely gonna rock the

Last month's IN set a new standard for raw party action, and this month we gonna keep it rockin on Thursday 4/14. Our homeboy El Carnicero, who recently relocated from Seattle to Indianapolis, is gonna come through and drop some exclusive grimeyness for his first Philadelphia appearance! This nite will also feature Stumble vs. Ilaphegs kickin some turntablist tag team nastyness (and this will be the young buck Stumble's unofficial 21st Birthday Party!). Dev79 and Starkey holding down the backbone as usual and Foundsound chillin downstairs. Peep more details on the events page.

Starkey won the Mid-Atlantic Laptop Battle down in Washington DC last week!!! Big ups to our man wreckin shit.
And on the topic of winning things, Radio Volta was awarded Best Online Radio Station of 2004 in the Philly HipHop.com awards the other week! We're proud to have Seclusiasis Radio running for over 2 years with Volta. Our next show is Sunday March 13th 11pm est.
The next IN will be off the chain on Thursday 3/10, straight outta the UK - Jammer, D Double E, and Ears will be joining us! This will be their first U.S. appearance and not too miss night, all for free! We'll be downstairs this month and making sure it gets rowdy Shadetek is coming down from NYC to join us as well. Of course 79 and Starkey will be reppin and once again we're gonna have to say it will be completely off the chain. This night will also serve as the official Philly Record Release Party for Vice's 'Run the Road' cd, the first major label grime compilation and we'll be doing giveaways! Saturday March 5th at 7pm in Denver, CO - Backwards Records, Kallisti Kollectif, Seclusiasis Studios and Page27 Media are holding an
event called the Monster Laptop Rally. This night is going to be a cross between a laptop battle and a remix contest and will also have workshops
on computer music production for the first two hours. The venue is called The Construct. Dev79 will be heading out there to be one of the
judges in the competition and doing a featured live pa at the event. Ableton, Grooves Magazine, Guitar Center, and Drumcore all sponsoring the event
and it should be a bangin night!
