Hey everyone we're sure you remember the Kotchy Remix Competition that we did a few months over at the Palms Out Sounds blog. Well, sorry for the delay in announcing the winner but the good news is that we were so happy with a number of the "She Made It Easy" remixes that we decided instead of just having 1 winner get on the next release, we'd pick 5 winners and dedicate a whole remix EP to them!!! Our grand winner is The Plain Ensemble and the runners up are Son of Kick, Pacheko, O.Boogie & Ebokai, and DJ Degree. Congratulations to all of them! Look for this bumpin' digital remix EP to be released by Seclusiasis and Civil Music very soon.
Speaking of our man Kotchy, he recently finished up a few sick tracks with fellow New Yorker, MC Shunda K (of Yo! Majesty). They are working on a love themed EP tentatively called Le Passion, Yo! and as a special new year's treat for the people, you can download 3 of the tracks plus a new Kotchy tune here.
